Vicks VapoRub Topical Ointment for Fast Cough Relief

Vicks VapoRub is a trusted topical ointment designed to help relieve cough and cold symptoms for both children ages two and up and adults. This medicated ointment uses soothing vapors to provide quick relief from coughs, nasal congestion, and even muscular soreness. Available in Regular and Lemon scents, it is easy to use and does not usually cause drowsiness or jittery feelings when applied as directed.

  • For cough and nasal congestion, gently rub the ointment on the chest, throat, and back. You may cover the area with a warm cloth, but keep clothing loose for best results.
  • For muscular soreness, apply directly to the affected area and cover with a warm cloth if desired.

Repeat application up to 3-4 times daily, especially at bedtime, or as directed by a physician. For children under two years, consult a doctor before use. Never heat VapoRub or expose it to flame or microwaves, as this may cause burns.
